DR. MEREDITH RIMMER

Dr. Meredith Rimmer specializes in child clinical psychology and testing/assessment. She has a subspecialty in working with children and families with special needs. (e.g., autistic spectrum disorders, learning disabilities, and ADHD).
Dr. Rimmer received training in discrete trial training/ABA (applied behavior analysis), pediatric psychotherapy/assessment from St. John’s Child and Family Development Center , Glen Roberts Child Study Center , and UCLA’s Neuropsychology program. She completed a two year post-doctoral fellowship at Childrens Hospital Los Angeles (CHLA) focusing on developmental disabilities, neuropsychological assessments, and children with cancer.
Dr. Rimmer is former President and Clinical Director of SEEK Education, Inc., (Special Education for Exceptional Kids) a non-profit clinic serving over 100 children and families with special needs. She is currently in private practice with two offices in the San Fernando Valley . She has also published articles on parent-child interactions and cognitive remediation for children and young adults with chronic medical conditions and neuropsychological impairments. Dr. Rimmer is active in the community, serving on several boards and is a member of the local and national organizations for Autistic Spectrum Disorders, ADHD, and other related disabilities.
