Snowflake Keepsake

Turn a Wooden Snowflake Into a Treasured Keepsake

Supplies:                                                                                    
Wooden snowflake
White Paint
Decoupage
2 Medium Paint brushes
1 Thin brush
White / Pearl Glitter
Copy of desired photo
Scissors
Ribbon 8" length
Hot glue gun
Glue stick

Directions:                                                                                   
Protect your surface with paper.
Select photo and cut down to size. (Do not use original photo.)
Paint snowflake and sprinkle glitter on flakes while still wet avoiding center.
Tap excess glitter off and pour back into bottle.  Let dry.
Brush on decoupage to back of photo and paste down to center of flake.
Brush decoupage on entire surface and let dry.
Using thin brush trim around picture with white paint and sprinkle glitter.
Set aside to dry. 
When dry write date on back of snowflake.
Cut ribbon to twice desired length and fold in half.
Glue both ends of ribbon together and then to back of flake.
